Archidea, the Interior Design Department of Archipel, works on planning, programming and design for all types of projects including private houses and villas, financial institutions, commercial centers, showrooms, restaurants, hospitals, residential projects, corporate headquarters, hotels and resorts which often include special areas such as conference centers, training facilities, cafeterias, auditoriums, health clubs and spa.

Archidea just signed a new project for the interior design of the famous international Accor company for a Mercure Hotel in Hanoi.

Archipel Company Ltd. (www.archipel-asia.com), a 100% foreign-owned architecture agency headed by French architects, currently seeks suitable candidates for its offices in both Hanoi and HCMC:

Available positions for national applicants:

1.       Architects. AutoCAD. Knowledge of construction and detailing is essential.

2.       ARCHIDEA: Interior Designers (professional experience in 3D would be a strong advantage) with full knowledge of the above-mentioned IT software, and one Quantity Surveyor (BOQ) specialized in Interior Deco.

3.       Structural Engineers. Experienced in multi-storey design. Knowledge of steel structure is an asset. Prokon, SAP, ETAB, and PLAXIS.

4.       Quantity Surveyors (BOQ). Knowledge of DUTOAN 2003 and Masterspec.

5.       M&E Engineers (electrical, piped services, HVAC). Knowledge of ELITE, ETOOL, LOOP, TRAIN, ASHRAE.

6.       3D & Video Designers. Knowledge of 3Ds Max., Vray, Photoshop, etc. Animation and video proficiency would be a strong advantage.

Professional requirements for above positions:

-          Education required: university graduated (or equivalent).

-          Minimum professional experience required: 3 to 5 years.

-          Job location: Hanoi or HCMC.

-          Languages required: Vietnamese/ English.

Available positions for foreign applicants:

1.       Senior Architect specialized in Concepts and Preliminary designs. Experience in office management and day-to-day relationships with clients would be an asset. Position advertised for HCMC only.

2.       Senior Structural Engineer. 15 years professional experience, including high-rise buildings.

3.       CAD Manager CAD standards maintenance/development, knowledge of AutoCAD, and programming.

4.       Senior Urban Designer

5.       Senior M&E Engineers (electrical, piped services, HVAC).

Professional requirements for above positions:

-          Education required: university graduated (or equivalent).

-          Professional experience required: 10 years minimum.

-          Job location: Hanoi or HCMC.

-          Language required: excellent command of both written and spoken English. Knowledge of French is an asset.

Archipel Limited creates a new Interior Design department: Archidea

 

Archipel

 

Archipel is an architecture and engineering consultancy established in 2005 in Hanoi by two French architects: Philippe Pierga and Christophe Jean-Louis. Archipel now employs over 100 staff and has a substantial list of projects in Vietnam.

The demand for architectural and interior design is growing fast in Vietnam, in step with the global development of the country. To respond to that demand, Archipel has now decided to create a new structure dedicated to Interior Design.

Richard Canu, interior architect and graduated from Ecole Boulle - Paris is managing a specialised international team.

Dang To Anh, teacher at the Hanoi Architecture University, will support him through the development stages of the company.

Archidea’s approach is informed by the knowledge of materials and styles, these ranging from neo-colonial - like the classical French architecture - to contemporary, both sought by Vietnamese new generations.
